Lindale, Texas — Recently Hideaway Lake residents have had a lot of questions about an ongoing investigation in their subdivision located off of I-20 near Lindale.
Residents tell us their subdivision's general manager, Dennis Godoy, was just fired, and they want some answers.
One resident, who declined to give her name says, "Everything's on lock, it's become this big secretive thing." She also went onto say the complaint that sparked this investigation, was about the maintenance supervisor allegedly getting a 50% kickback to cut down trees in the neighborhood.
This resident claims this isn't the first time she has been unhappy with the way things have been run in Hideaway Lake. She says "I feel like I pay a lot of dues to not have adequate things out there."
The Sheriffs' Office could not make a comment at this time as they are currently investigating. They say this case might take a while.
