Greenville, Texas (KETK) — A state-wide Amber Alert has been canceled for a three-year-old boy, who was thought to be in grave and immediate danger.
Law enforcement located father and son in Missouri at a relatives house. They were both unharmed.
Texas law enforcement officials had been looking for Aaron Sneed, 3, since 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. They had last been seen in Greenville.
Aaron was taken by his father, Jacob Sneed, 39, who threatened to crash his car in hopes of killing himself and his son, according to the Greenville Police Department.
Police say the boys father was driving a red, 1995, Ford Mustang with a "FORD" decal on the front windshield and two green eagle decals on the back windshield. The license plate number is 49S1380.
Aaron Sneed was said to be wearing a white sleeveless shirt with turquoise shorts and has shoulder length hair. He is about 3' 7" and weighs about 60 pounds.
The suspect, Jacob Sneed, has a goatee, is about 5' 11" and weighs about 240 pounds.
