Longview — Children clutching backpacks, lunch kits and stuffed animals streamed out of Longview Christian School on Wednesday afternoon, having completed their first day of school.
“It went great,” said Kaylee Satcher, a seventh-grader who is new to the school. “I was a little nervous, because it was my first time here, but everybody was really friendly.”
Kaylee’s mother, Pam Satcher, said she’d chosen the school for her child because she’d heard good things about it and was impressed with the staff’s attitude.
