Drought makes popular spring on Comal River no longer visible
New Braunfels, TX — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; visitors enjoy a plunge into the Comal River in New Braunfels, but things aren't as rosy as they may appear because of Texas' lingering drought.
One of the most popular springs that feed the Comal River is no longer visible, providing a harbinger of things to come if the state's drought doesn't ease up, according to an official at the Edwards Aquifer Authority.
