Irving — Linebacker Anthony Spencer is in pads for the first time since undergoing knee surgery July 25. Spencer was wearing a leg brace. He said he hopes to play against the Chiefs on Sunday after missing the season opener against the Giants.
Quarterback Tony Romo (ribs) and receiver Dez Bryant (foot) were on the field during the portion of practice open to the media. Bryant didn't appear to have any trouble running, but he could be limited as a precaution.
