Tyler, Texas (KETK) — If you are a supporter of the Second Amendment, this is great news.
Two Colorado State Senators, who lead the charge for tighter gun laws in the last election, have been recalled.
We're talking about democrats John Morse and Angela Giron.
By the way Morse is President of the Senate.
The motion to recall came after many "Coloradans" were fed up with the more "urban politicians telling those in rural counties to shut up and sit down and follow the new liberal
ideology which has been brought in by "out-of staters" who were newly elected.
Then the recall campaign started. It was a "David VS Goliath deal." Many democrats howled it was a waste of taxpayer money, but, it's legal.
"Nanny Bloomberg" and his "Mayors Against Guns Crew," showed up with millions of dollars from other liberal states. The NRA showed up with more than $350.000. The recallers finally raise about $550,000 to go up against the liberals $3,000,000.
Now "left-wind do-gooder," Debbie Wasserman Shultz. is hollering voter suppression. Many on the far left do this when they lose.
And the liberal Denver Post is calling for "Coloradans" to move on.
They wrote this and I quote:
"We hope the outcome of Tuesday's recall elections closes an ugly chapter in Colorado's political history."
Something tells me if the recall failed, they'd be more their coverage would look more like this:
"It's a new day and new spirit of common sense."
But, they didn't.
Two republicans will now be appointed to be senators in the two democratically controlled senate districts.
And Michael Bloomberg can wash his troubles away with a 64 ounce soft drink.
I mean, the man needs relief.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
