School staffers had arrest records
Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; The Children First Academy charter school has lost its bid to stay open after state officials found it placed students at risk - employing a felon and other staff members with arrest records.
With classes a few weeks under way, students now must find another school to attend. Children First has campuses in northeast Houston and in Dallas.
