GLADEWATER, TX (KETK) — The people of Gladewater celebrated the 40th Gladewater Arts & Crafts Festival this weekend.
The show was a two-day event held at the Broadway School grounds and East Texans displayed their artistic treasures for a good cause.
Folks tell us they are raising more for students, veterans and the community.
What you saw displayed at the booth are items you would find in stores, but these Arts & Crafts were made by East Texans; woodcrafts, handmade jewelry, metalwork and art.
Many came out to shop, buy gifts and enjoy the nice weather.
Kids were enjoying the Fall festive displays and face painting.
Mayor of Gladewater Harold Wells tells us, it being the 40th year there's so much to celebrate.
Wells says, this craft show is a great way to start the Fall season.
