Tyler, Texas (KETK) — The start of flu season is less than a week away so you may want to start to think about getting your flu shot.
The official start date of the flu season is October 1st, according to the Center for Disease Control, but in years past it has started in September.
So far this year, no flu cases have been reported in the United States.
Health officials recommend everyone get a flu shot including children three-months-old and older, but not too early because you could pay for it later.
