Tyler, Texas (KETK) — You cannot have watched a TV news program this past week and not hear about the showdown, shutting down the government and defunding "Obamacare."
We'll start off with Politico, which is not a right-wing publication at all.
The headline Tuesday, is the healthcare plan the president sold three years ago is not the healthcare plan which is about to go into effect.
The not-so affordable care is about to go into effect and there are hardly, if any, navigators hired to guide through this mess.
Then again, does it matter? The navigators will have no specials skills except they belong to groups which support the president.
I'll just mention they discovered a glitch in the big "Obamacare" computer system, but to me the entire thing is a glitch.
Health care prices are going up. I spoke with a friend yesterday who had her insurance canceled and she can now sign back up for the same policy for almost double the price.
A liberal friend of mine last night asked me to give it five years, my response, no.
When I pressed him he admitted he and all his like-minded friends are hoping the system collapses and it all goes to single-payer. That means completely government controlled.
When I pressed him more he said he wanted insurance for more than just the rich. I told him I have a great insurance policy right now and I'm about to get an even better one and I am anything but rich.
No comment from him.
Just re-boot the talking points, back to the everyone needs insurance rant. You cant make people buy stuff. It's unconstitutional.
That's what's wrong with "Obamacare," its unconstitutional.
I've run out of time, so I'll save my comments about John Cornyn backstabbing Ted Cruz for another day.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
