Tyler, Texas (KETK) — Ted Cruz. Just the sound of that name right now across the country invokes emotion.
There is either hatred or admiration and I know how John McCain feels.
Right after Cruz finished his "talk-a-thon," McCain scurried to the Senate floor and started trashing him.
Chris Wallace of Fox News Sunday, said he booked Cruz for last week's show then started getting opposition dirt on Cruz from a source.
Sources say, it was McCain.
McCain is a has-been and is the poster child for what's wrong with this country right now.
Our elected help have turned themselves into royalty. It dawned on them, a year ago, America is too busy watching dance shows to pay attention to the government which is stripping their money and rights.
If you didn't like the 22-hour speech in the Senate from Cruz, I understand where you are coming from. You want to invoke the long strategy game and watch folks' faces wince in horror once they really find out what "Obamacare" is all about.
The problem is, if you go with that, the camel's nose is under the tent.
It's like "Let's let the train crash happen then, we'll speak with survivors."
I admire Ted Cruz and what he has done. Every now in then in life you have to stand up for what your believe in no matter what the cost or consequences. I've been through that sort of thing one time in my life and if I would not have stood up, I would have hated myself for the rest of my life.
Cruz is standing up against the machine. In my opinion, he's making those who mock him look smaller than they already are.
The labor unions want out of "Obamacare," and I assure you Obama will let them out.
Congress has allowed their aides to get out and they as well as the president are exempt\.
It's you and me, the little people who must live under a plan they turn their nose up at.
But to me, to steal a line from newsman Neil Cavuto, "It's like this..."
Would you eat at a restaurant where the owner and head chef would not eat the food?
That's my point of view, what's yours?
