Longview — A combination retail and residential development, along with a new hotel and restaurant, southwest of Loop 281 and Fourth Street should be completed in about a year.
Developer Dante Hahn finished construction of a Suburban Extended Stay Hotel on the 11-acre property in 2011. He said on Thursday that he’s been working since then to develop the rest of the land.
With the extended stay hotel already operating, the planned Sleep Inn for limited hotel stays and loft apartments, Hahn said the development would hit “every aspect of residency.” It will include a Copeland’s of New Orleans restaurant off North Fourth Street, just south of Loop 281.
