Tyler , TX (KETK) — It's that time of year again for stuffy noses and watery eyes.
To prevent allergies you should be cleaning your air vents, changing all of your filters in your home, and wearing a mask if you are raking the leaves.
Pharmacist Brad Martin of Kinsey's Pharmacy also says pollen count tends to be higher in the morning hours.
"The two most common things are ragweed and mold so if you're sensitive to either of those... you need to go ahead and start taking antihistamines everyday to prevent it, if you haven't already experienced it," said Martin.
If you're already experiencing fall allergies you can purchase over the counter allergy medications or contact to your doctor.
