(KETK) - Tyler Tx — "I love pumpkins."
Jackson Penn was so excited to show off his pumpkin at Moore Farms in Bullard, and he was not alone.
"I get to pick out my own pumpkin and that's really exciting," said Oliver Finney. Finney came to Moore Farms with his three cousins, Mark, Avi, and Ben.
"It's really exciting for me because this is my second time and I haven't been here since last year," Finney said.
Finney's aunt, Cassie Hollander, said it was really nice to be able to spend this time with her family.
"My one-year-old thinks it's just a sea full of balls so he's really excited about that," Hollander said.
October is the only month Moore Farms is open and during this one month, thousands of families walk through its pumpkin patches.
"That's the time families come out, pick a pumpkin, take the hay ride, and have a good time," said Cleve Moore, Owner of Moore Farms."This time of year it's time to pick a crop of fall fun."
"They like to pet the animals," Moore said. "We've got some corn grinders you can physically grind corn, we've got a corn tank that kids play in like a sandbox."
The farm is only open on weekends. Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
