Longview, Texas (KETK) — Longview Police said Monday morning they now have a suspect in a Saturday night shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
Riccardo Duran Rivera, 29, of Longview was taken to Good Shepherd Medical Center Saturday after the shooting in the 400 block of Birdsong Street, according to police. Rivera's injuries were described as non life-threatening.
Police said they have a suspect, but they have not released the suspect’s name and no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, which occurred about 9:25 p.m. Saturday.
Witnesses at the scene Saturday at the scene said they heard, "lots of shots." Police were interviewing one person who was not being called a suspect.
