TYLER, TEXAS (KETK) — Most East Texans welcome rain of any sort. However, for one Whitehouse family, the rain turned into a major problem.
This morning at 10 a.m. the Boswell family had a rude awakening as a large tree crashed into their home. The home owner, James Boswell, tells KETK the tree fell straight into the roof line above the bathroom, and severely damaged their truck parked in the driveway. Crews had to be called in to fix power lines.
No one was hurt. The damage to the home is still under investigation, although Boswell speculates the impact may have shifted the placement of the entire trailer home.
