Lufkin, Texas (KETK) — An East Texas man is behind bars after a theft bust revealed multiple warrants and drug possession.
Around 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, Lufkin Police responded to a theft call where the suspect, Alfonzo Anthony, 30, had taken items not belonging to him.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Anthony had stolen a pair of shoes valued at $20. Anthony was also found to have four warrants through the Lufkin Municipal Court and was in possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
Anthony's criminal record prior to this arrest includes:
Resisting arrest, search or transport
Assault causing bodily injury and family violence
Interfering with emergency call
Motion to adjudicate guilt for resisting arrest, search or transport
Criminal trespassing (Twice)
- Theft of property = $50 < $500
Anthony was booked into the Angelina County Jail and bond has not been set.
