Nacogdoches, Texas (KETK) — A Nacogdoches man is dead after he is ejected from his vehicle Saturday night.
It happened at 8:22 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 59 just a tenth of a mile north of County Road 254 in Nacogdoches.
Angelina County DPS, Robert Earl Davis, 57, of Nacogdoches, was driving his pickup truck southbound on U.S. 59 when his vehicle went off the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree.
Davis was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 Judge Dorothy Tigner-Thompson.
