Lufkin, Texas (KETK) — Coston Elementary held a canned food drive to benefit the community.
As an effort to help the community, the physical education department at Coston Elemetary organized a non-perishable food drive for the month of October.
The students and school staff collected canned goods to help stock the food at the Family Crisis Center. The Coston Cougars made a differnce with every donation by collecting over 250 items.
Mrs. Barnett and Cougar Pride students: Abelardo Villanueva, Gabriela Munoz, Gethsemany Sanchez, Joseph Mesa, Nicholas Shepherd, and Allyssa Willis helped with the cause.
