TYLER, TEXAS (KETK) — The three-day holiday and magical shopping event is almost underway.
"35 years is a great celebration," says Shannon Glenney, President of Tyler Junior League.
It's an Annual event organized by Tyler Junior League attracting thousands to the Harvey Hall and Convention Center in Tyler November 7th through the 9th.
"We are transforming this place, for meet me under the mistletoe tons of christmas trees," says Carissa Fisher, Chair of Magic & Mistletoe.
90 merchants including specialty boutiques and companies will take part in the event.
"A few local and but the majority all out of town," says Magic & Mistletoe Committee.
They will be displaying gourmet foods, jewelry, seasonal decorations, antiques, artwork, clothing and much more.
Tyler Junior League tells us, the holiday shopping extravanganza and party is not what it's all about.
"We think of it as our premiere fundraising event to give money back to smith county and we are in more than 25 non-profit agencies and then we have projects of our own that we support through money raised through mistletoe & magic," says Glenney.
Over the years millions of dollars have been raised.
We're told this event is known as the kickoff to the season.
Plus, Santa Claus is coming to town, this is the first year santa claus will be joining the party.
There will be a preview party Wednesday night called "What happens under the mistletoe stays under the mistletoe".
Mistletoe and magic is truly a magical event you don't want to miss.
