According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram , an 80-year-old Fort Worth woman has been arrested for attempted murder after she tried to kill her 73-year-old husband.
Tempie Strickland, who claimed she was fed up with her husband, Sterling Strickland's "talk" and late nights, grabbed a revolver, pushed the barrell into his chest, pulled the trigger but, luckily, the gun jammed.
Fort Worth police responded to the Strickland's home in the 3200 block of Todd Avenue, around 5:30 p.m., Sunday evening, on suspicion of attempted murder stemming from a verbal argument, reports the Star-Telegram.
Mrs. Strickland was arrested and booked into the Mansfield Jail with bail set at $100,000.
