Tyler , TX (KETK) — Every year thousands of mud lovers from across the country come down to Jacksonville to play in the mud for the weekend.
With around 18 hundred acres of wooded trails and mud holes, River Run A.T.V. is every four wheeler rider's dream.
Park manager Scott Bordelon says, "this is their addiction, there addiction is mud."
The 2013 Mudaholics Convention offers a weekend of splashing in the mud, concerts, and enjoying time with family and friends.
"With all the rain we've been getting here recently, the park is in great condition, the riding will be awesome this weekend."
Park regular Michael Hillebrandt is excited to spend his weekend at river run, and loves the thrill of mudding.
"It's an adrenaline rush really, i mean, you get off into some of the deep waters, you know, it just feels cool to take some of these machines out there... just like getting dirty really," said Hillebrandt.
East Texas families can get stuck in the mud this weekend, and have everything they need.
There's a convenience store on the property, and cabins are available to stay in.
