Nacogdoches, Texas (KETK) — The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office arrested a local man after seizing a methamphetamine lab earlier this week.
Brian Molanders, 26, was arrested and charged with possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture drugs.
Deputies seized a meth lab after executing a search warrant at a house on Laurel Street in Nacogdoches. Sheriff Jason Bridges said that the sheriff's office had received information drugs were being sold out of the home.
Bridges tells KETK the suspect had been manufacturing large quantities of meth from a "shake and bake" style meth lab inside the home.
Several different types of chemicals used to cook meth and about 40 grams of meth in the process of being cooked were recovered during the search.
Molanders was booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail.
