(KETK) - Tyler Tx — We all know the craziness that comes the day after Thanksgiving. It is expected; but what is not expected and happening this year is even earlier black Friday hours.
Not earlier in the morning, we are talking about the day before. Some retailers have done this before, but not this many and not this early.
With high stakes and competition next door many stores are cutting into family time in their battle for customers. A late thanksgiving means fewer shopping days, six less than last year.
And big retailers want to stay ahead. Target, Wal-mart, Sears, and Macy's are all opening up at 8 p.m. and Best Buy is opening even earlier at six. So are the door busters worth it? Well, that is for you to decide.
