POV (KETK) — I thought I noticed the president and his supporters were not calling Obamacare Obamacare any more.
The Affordable Care Act is taking center stage once again.
Obamacare, once known as slang for the new health care law was embraced by the president last year.
He gave us all permission to use the term because it was about care and he says he worked hard to make it happen.
Now that it's in the tank, it's the Affordable Care Act again.
In fact, speaking about it yesterday, the press said Affordable Care Act seven times and not one time was it Obamacare.
We were told the last month to wait for it and that it will be fixed in late November.
Now, HHS Secretary, Kathleen Sebelioius, is telling us November 30th is not a magic date at all.
Now it's a work in progress.
The stories continue.
A guy in Denver tried to sign up via phone and they registered his dog by mistake.
One lady forgot her password and when she called back she got passed around to three people.
All of whom knew her social security number.
The most interesting story is the lady from the Seattle area who was thrilled about the program. She singed on the state program in Washington state.
Obamacare lowered her health insurance bill down to $160 per month, she was thrilled.
She sent the president a thank you card.
The president read the card on the air during a press conference.
Come to find out, the state computer and the federal computer didn't communicate well and there was a mistake.
Her health bill went so high, now she can't afford to pay for her insurance.
This is just the tip of the iceberg.
You wait until next year when group plans are deemed not good enough for Obamacare and millions of people have no insurance.
The president can call it what he wants.
It's a debackle.
That's my point of view, what's yours/
