Smith County, TX (KETK) — UPDATE (6:55 a.m.): Both lanes of the interstate are now open following an 18-wheeler fire overnight.
The 18-wheeler was carrying concrete and caught fire around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday. The reason for the fire is unclear at this time.
UPDATE (6:23 a.m.): One lane of eastbound Interstate 20 has been opened.
Authorities tell KETK that an 18-wheeler caught fire, but there were no injuries involved.
Emergency crews had detoured traffic down FM 14 while they worked the scene.

ORIGINAL STORY (5:47 a.m.): Drivers traveling eastbound on Interstate 20 are being detoured at mile marker 562.
Department of Public Safety officials tell KETK that a vehicle has caught fire at that location.

Traffic is being detoured down FM 14, and drivers can account for delays in travel time in this area.
