Marshall — The first afternoon events at the Wonderland of Lights got off to a good start Saturday, said Ed Michel, executive director of the Marshall Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Organizers decided to begin activities at noon on Saturdays this year, he said. In addition to the regular activities, each Saturday afternoon will feature an added event. This weekend it was a Holiday Bike Tour.
A new attraction this year — available whenever the festival is open, not just on Saturdays — is a giant wooden rocking horse, which was constructed especially for the Wonderland of Lights.
