Harrison County, Texas — An East Texas man who allegedly kidnapped his four-year-old daughter Sunday afternoon, has been arrested and charged with murder.
Brad Dunn, 35, was arrested after an Amber Alert was issued for his involvement in the kidnapping of his daughter, Kylie Dunn. Police realized Kylie was missing when they were called to the Baymont Inn in Marshall, around 11:18 a.m., in reference to a fight with injuries.

When officials arrived on scene, Kari Rene Dunn, 31, the mother of the child and wife of Brad, was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead by Justice of the Peace Precinct 1, Meagan Pinson.

After allegedly killing Kari, Brad took his daughter and upon a tip from a driver in Cass County, Brad was arrested on U.S. Highway 59, south of Linden. The child is now safe with her family.
Brad was arrested by the Cass County Sheriff's Department and charged with murder. Dunn has a criminal record in Gregg County, having been previously charged with theft (1998), assault (1999), speeding (2001) and assault/family violence (2003).
A bond of $5.1 million has been set for Brad. $5 million for he murder charge and an additional $100,000 for evading arrest, accoding to the Cass County Sheriff's Office and Texas Department of Public Safety.
Dunn was transferred to Harrison County Jail on Tuesday, and is now being held on a $5.1 million bond.
