College Station — Texas A&M sophomore quarterback Johnny Manziel was already invited to New York as a member of the exclusive Heisman Trophy fraternity.
Now, he’ll return to the Big Apple as a Heisman finalist.
Manziel, the reigning Heisman winner, was one of six finalists named Monday evening for college football’s most coveted award. The others are: quarterback Jordan Lynch of Northern Illinois, running back Tre Mason of Auburn, quarterback A.J. McCarron of Alabama, running back Andre Williams of Boston College and quarterback Jameis Winston of Florida State.
