Man struck by drive shaft that broke off truck
Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; A Dimmitt County jury has awarded $281 million to the family of a man killed when he was struck by a drive shaft that broke off a truck involved in activity in the Eagle Ford Shale.
The lawsuit said the incident happened May 29, 2012, when Osorio was driving a Heckmann tractor-trailer on FM 133 in Dimmitt County and the drive shaft broke off from under the truck.
