CNN — A woman in Georgia says she wants answers after an apparent prank in a restroom left her with serious injuries. Reporter Tony Thomas spoke with the woman, who wants answers from the store and the person who put glue on the toilet seat.
This is home video the family had, it runs 17 minutes in length, at times it is very excruciating to watch.
You can hear the woman screaming in pain. Paramedics were ultimately able to remove her from the situation, but not without injuries.
Firefighter, "Are you ready to try and stand up?"
Illyanna De La Keur, victim, "Ahh ahh ahh ahh.. no."
The video was taken as Banks County paramedics tried to remove Illyanna De La Keur from the Home Depot bathroom stall.
Someone had apparently put a Loctite clue substance on the toilet seats.
Illyanna De La Keur, "Ohh, ohh."
Paramedic, "I'm sorry but it is working."
Firefighters were able to get her out by using WD-40 to loosen the glue's grip.
Illyanna De La Keur, "All I can do is lay here. It's defeating."
Illyanna says she's been forced to stay on her couch, unable to move because of the wounds and injuries to her back, "I would just like to be able to get up and be normal. I don't want people to have to wait on me like I'm an invalid because I'm not."
Anthony Canino, Victim's Brother-in-Law, "All through it, I just felt bad for her because I knew she was going to be embarrassed more than anything."
Relatives question why paramedics separated her from the seat on scene, instead of at the hospital.
They worry the removal process caused more harm than good.
Aleera Canino, Victim's Sister, "I mean it worked but it's unsanitary."
The Banks County Sheriff says his investigators have been looking at surveillance video from the store and are still trying to figure out who was involved in the incident.
Illyanna De La Keur, "It wasn't funny. It wasn't funny at all. Whoever decided to do this hurt somebody. It wasn't a joke."
