Hearings begin in lawsuit over massive Thanksgiving wreck that injured 100
Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; pre-trial hearings started in a complex lawsuit to determine blame for one of the largest wrecks in the area's recent history.
Two people were killed and 100 injured as heavy fog fell on I-10 near the Jefferson-Chambers county line, leading to a 140 car pileup on Thanksgiving Day 2012.
Troopers say at one point the visibility was down as low as one-eighth of a mile. For a time, even they couldn't see all the different crashes that had happened.
