Longview — It was bumper-to-bumper outside and cart-to-cart inside Longview stores Monday as shoppers raced to scratch items off their Christmas shopping lists.
For some who were shopping Monday, the last-minute rush is tradition.
“I’m not one of those who shops slowly and builds it up,” said Jesse Bunn, who was wrapping up his list at Longview Mall. “I’ll knock it all out in one trip usually the week of Christmas, which is stupid. I know what to expect and I still do it anyway.”
His stress isn’t from crowds or traffic, he said, but trying to find the perfect gift to please friends and family.
