Tyler, Texas (KETK) — Former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden is continuing to leak information concerning the NSA snooping controversy.
Now, Snowden claims the NSA is racing to build a computer that could break nearly every kind of encryption in the world.
Encryption is currently used to protect banking, medical, business and government records around worldwide.
Documents, provided by Snowden, indicate the agency is trying to build a machine exponentially faster than classic computers as part of nearly $80,000 research program.
