Tyler, Texas (KETK) — Authorities tell KETK a Saturday night argument between two neighbors resulted in a stabbing and the arrest of a Tyler woman.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m., Saturday evening, at a home in the 700 block of West Harmony, when a verbal altercation between Tommie Lynn Shakleford and Vanessa Carr quickly escalated resulting in Carr reportedly stabbing Shakleford in the head and ear.
Carr was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and tampering with evidence.
The suspect was booked into the Smith County Jail on $200,000 bond and Shakleford was taken to a local hospital, then flown to Dallas for further treatment.
