Lufkin, Texas (KETK) —
An East Texas man is behind bars after officers a narcotics warrant revealed he was in possession of illegal drugs.
Justin Ellis Dodd, 31, of Lufkin was arrested Tuesday night around 7:00 p.m., for an outstanding narcotics warrant, a Lufkin Municipal Court warrant and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Officials showed up at Dodd's home in the 700 block of Kiln Ave to serve a narcotics-related warrant for his arrest. Upon arrival, authorities found Dodd to be in the possession of 9.5 grams of methamphetamine, 13.9 ounces of K-2 178 grams of ecstasy, 23.1 grams of cocaine and one bar of Xanax.
Dodd is no stranger to Angelina County officials having been arrested previously for the following:
Failure to maintain financial responsibility
- Four counts of assault
Dodd was booked into the Angelina County Jail.
