Details have emerged concerning a doctor who was arrested in East Texas in December 2013.
William Martin Valuck, 71,  who already served time in federal prison, was arrested Friday, December 27, around 4:00 p.m., for homicide and drug distribution.
DEA Agents from the Tyler Field Office along with Kilgore Police Officers served felony arrest warrants at 2803 Chandler Street in Kilgore, which resulted in the arrest of Dr. Valuck. The warrant service was provided at the request of Oklahoma law enforcement officials.
Valuck, who in 2002 was convicted of one count of wire fraud, two counts of theft of funds valued $5,000 or more in interstate commerce and and one count of money laundering, spent time in federal prison before moving to East Texas.
According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, he is now facing more charges, including upgrades, than he was originally arrested for.
Valuck has now been charged with nine counts of murder and 72 counts of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.
The OCSO tells KETK Vauluck reportedly caused the deaths of nine victims by drug toxicity from excessive amounts of prescription drugs.
Officials have been investigating Valuck since January 2013 and according to the arrest affidavit, at the time of practice, Valuck did not accept insurance and all visits were paid for by credit card and/or cash. He was booked into jail in Oklahoma on December 30, 2013.
Valuck is being held in the Oklahoma County Jail without bond.
