Longview — The largest issues facing Longview today are quality of life, competition from other cities, traffic or pedestrian circulation, employment, crime and revitalization, according to a survey completed so far by 700 people.
The preliminary findings come from an ongoing comprehensive planning survey being completed by Longview residents. The preliminary results were presented Monday to the city’s Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee during the group’s second meeting. As of Monday, 700 people had responded to the survey, which can be found at LongviewTexas.gov/plan. The survey will be open until the end of February.
“We are off to a great start, I hope you have been following some of the developments … The process, it has been great so far,” committee Chairman Keith Honey said.
