Tyler, Texas (KETK) — An East Texas man connected to a Tyler December 2013 aggravated robbery  has been arrested in Longview.
Donterius Montrey Jackson, 20, was arrested Tuesday in Longview after officers stopped him for speeding. Police discovered the car Jackson was driving was stolen and had been reported by the Tyler Police Department.
Jackson was arrested for possession of the stolen vehicle, but a small revolver pistol was found that matched the one used in the aggravated robbery from The Reserves apartment complex in December 2013. Jackson was also arrested for felon in possession of a firearm, failure to identify as a fugitive and a warrant for no driver’s license.
On Thursday a warrant was issued by the Tyler Police Department on Jackson for the apartment complex aggravated robbery. The charge was added to those he is already facing.
Jackson was booked into the Gregg County Jail.
