TYLER - Many people are trying to find anyway possible to save money in today's economy.
And a nutritionist for the Northeast Public Health District wants you to know— a healthy breakfast should not be cut.
Studies show, children who eat breakfast do better in school.
And adults who eat breakfast, feel better and perform better at work as well.
They say, eating breakfast sets the tone for the rest of the day.
So, what does a healthy breakfast look like?
Jennifer Alred says, "Try to include some whole grains, protein, fiber also fruit is great. You can include fruit, milk for calcium simple things like oatmeal with some skim milk would be awesome."
Nutritionists also say, breakfast is a good way to lose weight.
In fact, people who eat breakfast are more likely to maintain a healthy weight.
