Kilgore — Council members Tuesday unanimously approved $6,000 for the latest phase of a downtown renovation project.
The latest funds brought the total cost of sidewalk and road improvements to $618,773. That’s $180,500 below the lowest estimate.
Seth Sorensen, director of public works for Kilgore, said improving the roads and sidewalks on North Kilgore Street— between North Street and East Sabine Street — has been long overdue.
