About 50 students at three Katy ISD schools sickened by food
Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; about 50 students at three Katy ISD schools were sickened by food served in school lunches Thursday, the district said.
Students at Wolman, Morton Ranch and Kilpatrick elementery schools had an allergic reaction, the district said in a statement. Symptoms included a skin rash and shortness of breath.
None required outside medical attention, but district officials continued to monitor students and were investigating the source of the allergic reaction.
