Surprise, Ariz. — KETK Sports was at the Rangers' first full workout of Spring Training.
This year the team will have a new first baseman, a new outfielder, a new starting pitcher and a new closer who is not really new at all.
Manager Ron Washington started things off by meeting with his players.
What was the message?
"Execution, play to what the game asks you to do and being a family," Washington said.
Pitcher Tommy Hanson told KETK's Phil Kuchinsky he was impressed.
It was motivating," Hanson said. "You could see the passion and enthusiasm he has, not only for this team but for the game."
