Chris Leahy with the Tyler Museum of Art and Richard Lee with the East Texas Symphony Orchestra stop by KETK to chat about a historic partnership between the two organizations and Dr. Scott Lieberman.
This collaboration is the fulfillment of a major part of the ETSO and TMA missions to work together in finding innovative ways to strengthen the role of the arts in the East Texas community.
Dr. Liberman gained international acclaim for his photo of the Space Shuttle Columbia tragedy over East Texas in 2003. The picture appeared on the front of more than1,200 newspapers and magazine covers.
A new exhibition called "Scott M. Lieberman, M.D.: At the Vantage Point," will open at TMA on March 23rd.
The show will feature more than 75 images, including the iconic Space Shuttle photo, a wall of celebrity portraits, visual oddities, nature subjects and much more.
Dr. Lieberman's nature photography will be the focus of the ETSO's "On Nature" concert on March 22nd at the UT Tyler Cowan Center.
