KILGORE, TX — Construction of a new building being designed to enhance workers’ skills is moving right along in Kilgore.
Amanda Nobles, executive director of the Kilgore Economic Development Corp., said Tuesday the Advanced Technology Center “should be fully functional by June.”
“They were able to pour the apron which will connect it to Highway 349,” Nobles said. “It looks very nice. We only had one wall which needed to be adjusted.
“At this point there are no stumbling blocks to the progress in getting the building done.”
The Advanced Technology Center is being built across U.S. 259 from Synergy Park.
The 18,000-square-foot facility aims to enhance the skills of workers, such as welders, Nobles has previously said.
