Tyler, TX (KETK) — If you think your home life is crazy, imagine being in a family with 21 members. Well, meet the Duggar family. These are the stars of TLC's hit TV series, "19 Kids and Counting'.
This group is known for their religious and conservative beliefs, which they share in their book, "A Love that Multiplies". The Duggar family stopped by KETK, and Jessa Duggar said, "Being in a family with 19 kids is a lot of fun. There is never a dull moment and there's always someone to hang out with, and really we are each other's best friends". In a family so large, they have unique ways to keep tabs on their household, like the "buddy system". Jessa said, "You just help the younger ones pick out their outfit for the day, make sure they have a plate of food, and things like that. So we all work together as a team and make this work". However, the Duggar family passed through Tyler to promote their newest book, "Growing up Duggar". Jinger Duggar explained the plot of book and said, "We focused on the most important person in a girl's life, the relationship primarily with the Lord, but then from that, is your relationship with yourself. When we can accept ourselves for the way that God made us, then we won't go looking for that love in other places and other people". The book took the girls two years to complete, and they are thrilled the book has finally been published.
The Duggar family will be promoting and signing their new book tonight at the Lifeway Christian book store from 6 PM to 8 PM.
