Lufkin, Texas (KETK) — Authorities busted an East Texas man trying to steal merchandise after he tried to hide it in his crotch Monday afternoon.
Henry Rutherford Lovelady, Jr., 47, of Crockett, allegedly took a surge protector from a local business, but was nabbed when his vehicle broke down after leaving the store. Police said the item was hidden in his crotch area.
Lovelady was booked into the Angelina County Jail on two charges of theft. His bail totaled $2,000.
