Tyler, Texas (KETK) — I just cannot let this go. I grew up in the age of journalism when the press would speak the truth to power.
It's so sad now to see the United States press, especially the national press, just turn into stenographers and just paparazzi.
After the White House told us for months there is so much data to look at there is now way to understand how many were signing up for Obamacare.
Then on April Fool's Day, they give us seven, plus a decimal point.
These numbers are a sham. They're made up.
But say for the fact or arguing, say they are correct. 7.1 million?
How many of the people are new additions? How many of these people were kicked off a plan and re-signed?
The UK Mail Newspaper reports fewer than 900,000 have actually paid.
Forbes is reporting that only one-third of Obamacare Exchange sign-ups were from the previously uninsured.
That's the real number.
The president, taking a victory lap Tuesday, crowing they didn't have to do a hard sell. That's not true.
They spent at least $365 million advertising this mess. Now Nancy Pelosi is about facing.
She said before Democrats would be favored this next national election running on Obamacare. Now she and the president said, "we won, let's talk about jobs."
Oh no. It's not that easy. Most of America has not been touched by this debacle.
Let's see how many Democrats proudly will hail Obamacare in the November election.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
