Longview, Texas (KETK) — Authorities have taken into custody one juvenile in connection with the Cherokee Pawn Shop burglary.
The Longview Police Department announced the arrest Friday morning, but could not release any more details due to the criminal not being of age. Law enforcement began investigating the case Thursday.
Between late Wednesday and early Thursday, a group of local teenagers stole a beige Ford F-250 and drove into the Cherokee Pawn Shop located in the 2700 block of Gilmer Road.
When officials and the store owner arrived on scene, the bandits had fled, but not before stealing six guns, the owner reported.
