Longview, Texas (KETK) — Two men are accused of breaking into several storage buildings Monday behind a Longview business.
At 12:18 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 900 block of West Marshall Avenue on reports of a break-in. When officers arrived on scene, they learned burglars had taken thousands of dollars worth of items.
Other responding policemen quickly scoured the area for the suspects and were able to find two people hiding inside a nearby business. Both were arrested and taken to the Gregg County jail.
The alleged burglars were identified as Derrick Bray, 41, of Marshall, and Legacy Lynn Roach, 21, a Longview transient. Both were charged with evading arrest, burglary of a building and theft between $20,000 and $100,000.
Each suspect's bail was set at $36,000.
